With the active ingredient Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Corsodyl Mouthwash is an antibacterial agent which reduces the formation of dental plaque and is used to:

Gum disease is a common dental condition that happens when plaque builds up on your teeth. When you are suffering from gum disease you may notice that your gums bleed when you brush your teeth and that you have bad breath. If you don’t treat your gingivitis, you may find that it becomes worse and could eventually lead to your teeth falling out.
For rinsing the mouth only, do not swallow, avoid contact with eyes and ears.
Do not use immediately after brushing your teeth, tubes of toothpaste can stop Corsodyl Mouthwash from working

If you are allergic to any of the ingredients this mouthwash contains
If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
You experience any irritation or discomfort while using this product
This mouthwash does not contain Alcohol
Active Ingredient: Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2& w/v.
Other Ingredients: Ethanol 7% v/v, Macrogolglycerol Hydroxystearate, Sorbitol, Peppermint Oil, and Water. Macrogolglycerol Hydroxystearate may cause skin reactions.
Use 10ml Twice daily (preferably once in the morning and once in the evening) to rinse your mouth for one minute, then spit out.
Do not swallow this mouthwash and don’t rinse with water
Possible common side effects:
sensitive, irritated gums
Irritation of the mouth, soreness or swelling of the inside of the cheeks. This should go away when treatment is stopped
Temporary staining of the tongue
Temporary staining of the teeth can usually be removed by brushing
Change of taste or burning sensation which usually goes away with continued use
Peeling of the skin inside the mouth
These side effects don't usually last long. However, if it is persistent and continues to be troublesome speak to your GP or our pharmacist for advice.
If you have a severe allergic reaction to this mouthwash stop use immediately and seek medical attention. Signs of a severe allergic reaction are:
rash
swelling of the lips
tongue, throat, or face
difficulty breathing
