Rehydration sachets
Dioralyte Sachets are used to help to rehydrate those who are suffering from diarrhoea or vomiting which causes dehydration. When you are dehydrated your body loses some of the essential salts your body needs to rehydrate. Dioralyte will replace these salts for you.
This product comes in three flavours: natural, citrus, and blackcurrant, in packs of 6 or 20 sachets.

Babies under the age of 2 should only be given Dioralyte Sachets under the guidance of a GP.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
You suffer from a fully or partially blocked bowel.
You are allergic to any of the ingredients these sachets contain.
You are pregnant or breastfeeding
You have diarrhoea which has lasted more than 24 to 48 hours
You are on a low potassium or low sodium diet
You have liver or kidney disease
You have diabetes
You have been told by your GP that you cannot tolerate or digest some sugars, as this product contains glucose
Active substances: glucose, sodium chloride, potassium chloride and disodium hydrogen citrate
The other ingredients: saccharin sodium, and silicon dioxide.
The citrus version also contains lemon and lime flavour, the blackcurrant version also contains blackcurrant flavour
Dissolve the contents of ONE sachet into a 200ml glass of water and stir until the powder dissolves. Drink after every loose stool.
If you are treating children, one sachet in 200ml of water will be enough, but some adults may find that TWO sachets dissolved in 400ml of water will be needed.
Always use fresh drinking water with Dioralyte Sachets, do not dissolve the powder in anything else.
Sachets should only be mixed with water, as mixing with other liquids can affect how well this product works
Dioralyte should not usually cause any side effects.
Stop taking Dioralyte sachets and see a doctor or go to a hospital straight away if: You have an allergic reaction. The signs may include: a rash, swallowing or breathing problems, and swelling of your lips, face, throat, or tongue.
